Ayurved aims at promoting and maintaining health. Similarly a sport is important to improve physical fitness. It also improves ones concentration, positive attitude and good sportsmanship.
Keeping this in mind and to give better opportunities for sports and physical education, Our College has given the best physical & infrastructure facilities to our students and also to the staff.

Sports Committee
Our institute always encourages the girls for the participation in all sports events. Our Principal has sanctioned ‘Sports Leave’ for the students who are participating in different sports events & considering their attendance at the time of final University examination. Our University sanctioned five (5) additional marks in the examination in the same academic year; to the students who are participating in inter University competitions. Special budget has been kept for the sports department & every year we are purchasing different sports material for the students for practice. |

INTERCOLLEGIATE CHESS TOURNAMENT BHARATI VIDYAPEETH (DEEMED TO BE UNIVERSITY) 2023 ORGANISED BY COLLEGE OF AYURVEDA, BV(DU), PUNE ON 21ST & 22ND AUGUST 2023.
132 contestants participated in this competition from 18 colleges including Karad, Navi Mumbai, Sangli, Satara. The College of Engineering team established its dominance in the tournament with securing first prize in Boys and Girls whereas among girls team, BV(DU) Homeopathy Medical college, Pune team received the runner-up title while Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development (IMED), Pune team bagged the runners-up title in Boys category. The prize distribution ceremony was concluded by the Vice Principal Dr. Rahul Kadam for which Mr. Rajendra Konde, Dr. Bharat Rokade and Dr. Umesh Ghate were present. Participation of students in Sports CompetitionDuring gathering days from 12th Feb to 16th Feb students had a great time on our campus playground. Many students participated in different sports and others enjoyed by cheering up their colleagues. The girls cricket team of 1st yr BAMS was the final champion. In other sports too 1t yr students worked hard and achieved success. Inter-Collegiate Chess Tournament 2019 was organized by College of Ayurved, Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University), Pune. More than 10 colleges participated in the tournament, with 49 girls and 55 boys. Inauguration of the tournament was done at the hands of Shivchhatrapati Award winner and international coach Mr. Joseph D'souza. The tournament was conducted by Pune District Chess Association. Principal Dr. Abhijeet B. Patil and PDCA Secretary Mr. Rajendra Konde and University Sports In-Charge Mr. Netaji Jadhav addressed the players. Dr. Bharat Rokade, Dr. Umesh Ghate, Dr. Suvarna Shelar along with sport volunteers conducted the event.  |

B. J .Medical College has organized inter-collegiate Cricket tournament from 12 September 2015. College of Ayurved, B.V.D.U. Pune has been participated in the tournament and become the champion by defeating B. J. Medical College team on 22 September 2015 |

Intercollegiate Chess Tournament was organized by BV(DU) College of Ayurved, Pune on 22nd and 23rd August 2017. 65 boys and 42 girls were participated for intercollegiate chess tournament from various constituent units of various campuses of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University First 5 Boys and Girls were selected in the B.V.D.U. Chess team for participation in West Zone Inter-university Tournament. |
