It was a modest beginning with an ambition to rejuvenate the most ancient medical science of India, our Hon’ble founder Dr. Patangrao Kadam established the College in August 1990.

The college of Ayurved is now constituent unit of Bharati Vidyapeeth (Deemed to be University) which is recognized by National Commission for Indian System of Medicine [NCISM-former CCIM] & Department of AYUSH, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, New Delhi. It is Re-accredited ‘A+’ Grade by National Assessment Accreditation Council (NAAC) Bangalore.

It is located in the Pune-Satara Road Educational complex of Bharati Vidyapeeth. The well designed college building accommodates well-equipped laboratories, dissection hall, spacious demonstration halls, museums, classrooms and library with a reading hall and internet facility.

Our institute consists of senior faculties, who are proficient in their own subjects. Our faculty is Student centric as well as Research oriented.

The college conserves an herbal garden having more than 298 medicinal plants species. Few endangered herbal species are seen here. The states of art equipments are installed in our pharmacy to manufacture variety of classical Ayurvedic preparations.

The college library has ample space. It has a huge reading hall & a well furnished section containing more than 22,026 volumes on Ayurvedic and allied medical literature. Library subscribes to imperative scientific periodicals.

The NABH accredited Ayurved Hospital with 236-bed strength is attached to College. Our OPDs & IPDs attract a huge number of patients, facilitating our students to get better clinical exposure.
