Dr. Rutuja Patil Secures 3rd Prize in Paper Presentation at Srotosummit 2026
Dr. Rutuja Patil, MD (2nd Year) student from the Department of Ayurved Samhita, Siddhant Evum Sanskrit at Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University College of Ayurveda, Pune, secured the 3rd Position in Best Paper Presentation at Srotosummit 2026.
Her paper focused on the role of Srotodushti in disease pathogenesis, highlighting its significance in Ayurvedic understanding of disease development. The presentation elaborated on types of Srotodushti with examples of Swedovaha Srotas in conditions such as Kustha, Jwara, and Sthaulya, along with integration of Shatkriya Kala to emphasize early diagnosis and intervention.
The seminar was organized by Rashtriya Shikshan Mandal and held on 1st March 2026 at Tilak Ayurved Mahavidyalaya, Pune. This achievement reflects strong academic dedication, analytical ability, and effective scholarly communication, contributing to the institution’s academic excellence.

Mr. Pushkaraj Santosh Mahadik, 2nd Year BAMS student of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University College of Ayurveda, Pune, secured 2nd Prize in Nanal Inter-Medical Competition (Group 1) at the National Level Inter-Medical College Competitions 2026, organized by Rashtriya Shikshan Mandal.
He participated in five competitive events—Essay Writing, Poster Making, Case Taking, Extempore, and Topic Presentation—demonstrating consistent performance and an integrative approach across all domains. He was guided by Vd. Shobhit Dave for the essay on “Antimicrobial Resistance in India” and Vd. Advait Menon for Case Taking.
This achievement reflects his academic versatility and highlights the institution’s focus on comprehensive clinical and academic training.

Ms. Sanjivani Vijay Atole, 2nd Year BAMS student of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed to be University College of Ayurveda, Pune, secured 1st Prize in Case Taking at the National Level Inter-Medical College Competition 2026, organized by Rashtriya Shikshan Mandal.
She demonstrated a strong integrative approach while presenting clinical concepts effectively. She was guided by Vd. Advait Menon for the Case Taking competition and Vd. Vasudha Asutkar for the essay competition on the topic “Cancer – Immunotherapy: An Integrative Approach.”
National Video Making Competition winners
Our Final BAMS students, Miss Muskan Patil and Miss Trupti Nikam, secured First Prize and Second Prize respectively at a National Level Video Making Competition organized by BVVS Ayurveda Medical College and Hospital, Bagalkot, under the Department of Kaumarbhritya.
The competition was based on the theme “Ayurveda in Pediatric Care”, highlighting the role and relevance of Ayurvedic principles in child health and wellness. Their creative presentation, academic insight, and effective communication of Ayurvedic concepts were highly appreciated by the judging panel.
Both students prepared their award-winning entries under the guidance of Dr. Madhura Phadtare, Assistant Professor, Department of Rasashastra Evam Bhaishajya Kalpana.

Dr. Pragati Toraskar, MD II year scholar of Department of Rasashastra evam Bhaishajyakalpana, BVDU College of Ayurved Pune, has received first prize in national level e-poster competition organized to mark the National Pharmacovigilance week 2025. The competition was organized by Department of Rasashastra and Bhaishajyakalpana, Nangelil Ayurved Medical College, Kothamangalam, Ernakulam Kerala. She received guidance from Dr. Trupti Patil Bhole for the poster titled as 'Patient awareness for drug safety: ADR/AE [AYUSH'

Dr. Chhavi Rosha presented a paper titled 'Pitta Prakriti as a Predictor of Local Cutaneous Reactions in Neonates: A Post-Hoc Subgroup Analysis from a Randomized Control Trial of a Novel Ayurvedic Topical Anaesthetic and Lidocaine Prilocaine Cream During Venipuncture' at National Symposium on Pharmacovigilance, 'Shishu Suraksha-Rashtra Suraksha' (Safe Care for Every Newborn and Every Child). The symposium was conducted at Gwalior and jointly organized by CCRAS, RARI Gwalior (PPvC) in collaboration with AIIA New Delhi (NPvCC) on 17 and 18 September 2025

SPARK 23-24 - Miss Nabanita Chakraborty
Miss Nabanita Chakraborty student of second professional BAMS was awarded with the SPARK 23 24 scholarship of Rs 50,000 and a certificate for her research work titled Assessment of effect of Sugandhi Dravya on patients of Hypertension having Pitta Pradhan Prakruti’ under the guidance of Dr Advait Murli Menon, Assistant Professor, Department of Roga Nidan evam Vikriti Vigyan
3rd prize at National level Reel & short film competition
Muskan Baba Saheb Patil, guided by Dr. Madhura B. Phadtare, won third prize in a National Level Reels and Short Video Making Competition organized by JSS Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, Mysuru, Karnataka. The competition, held on the occasion of Nutritional Week in September 2024, was themed ‘Ayurveda Nutritious Diet for Everyone.’ Participants had to present their ideas within a 90-second time limit. Muskan’s achievement highlights her dedication and understanding of Ayurvedic principles in promoting health through diet.
